Distinguished guests, comrades, leaders of organised labour, representatives of trade associations, professionals, members of Working People United, members of the press, invited guests, ladies and gentlemen.

It is with great honour, profound gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility that I stand before you today to welcome all of you to the commissioning of Working People United Podcast Studio, an initiative born out of our conviction that the Nigerian working people deserve a stronger voice in the conversations that shape their lives, their livelihoods and the future of our great country.

Today is more than the commissioning of a podcast studio. It is the opening of a platform for ideas, the beginning of a new chapter in public engagement and a deliberate step towards strengthening the relationship between government and the people.

At Working People United, we understand that a nation cannot make meaningful progress when its working people are disconnected from the conversations surrounding public policies, governance and national development. We also understand that the success of any government depends not only on the policies it formulates but also on how effectively those policies are communicated, understood and implemented.

This is why we have taken this bold step.

The Working People United Podcast Studio is not being established merely to produce content or add another voice to the crowded media space. We are establishing it to create a platform where important national issues can be discussed honestly, intelligently and constructively; where the concerns of ordinary Nigerians and working people can find expression; and where the policies and programmes of government can be examined, explained and communicated to the people they are intended to serve.

Distinguished guests, we live in a time when information travels rapidly, public opinion is shaped daily and misinformation can spread faster than the truth. In such an environment, organisations that genuinely care about the welfare of the people must take responsibility for providing credible information, encouraging meaningful conversations and helping citizens understand the issues that affect them.

That is the responsibility we have accepted.

Through this platform, we intend to engage policymakers, government officials, labour leaders, unionists, political actors, professionals, entrepreneurs, civil society representatives and ordinary working Nigerians. We will discuss governance, public policies, workers' welfare, industrial relations, minimum wage implementation, job creation, economic reforms, taxation, education, healthcare, social protection and the many challenges confronting Nigerian working people.

Our mission is to bring governance closer to the people, bring the concerns of the people closer to government and create a platform where information, ideas and constructive engagement can drive national development.

Working People United believes in and is highly committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and we are committed to supporting his re-election alongside the Vice President, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, in 2027.

The platform being commissioned today shall also form an integral part of the campaign for a greater Nigeria and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Because we believe that the national conversation should not be driven by misinformation, political hostility or the deliberate distortion of public policies. It should be driven by facts, evidence, honest assessment and a genuine commitment to Nigeria's progress.

This is where the Working People Podcast will play a significant role.

We intend to use this platform to explain the rationale behind the administration's policies, discuss the progress being made, examine the challenges that remain and communicate the opportunities these policies may create for working Nigerians.

We will engage in conversations that promote the Renewed Hope Agenda, canvass support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027 and encourage working people to make informed decisions about the political leadership and future they desire.

We believe that political support is strongest when it is built on understanding, engagement and conviction. It must go beyond slogans and campaign rallies. It must be sustained through conversations that connect government policies to the everyday experiences and aspirations of the people.

For us, the Working People United Podcast is therefore both a platform for public engagement and an instrument for political mobilisation. We intend to take the conversation to the grassroots, using accessible communication to reach working people in all communities across the 36 states of the federation, the Federal Capital Territory, the 774 Local Government Areas and among Nigerians in the diaspora.

Our objective is to ensure that working people understand the choices before the nation, appreciate the policies being pursued by the present administration and have the information necessary to participate meaningfully in the democratic process.

Therefore, our intention is not to create a platform for empty arguments. It is to create a platform for meaningful conversations that inform, educate, challenge assumptions and encourage solutions.

As we commission this studio today, we recognise that the work ahead requires commitment, consistency, credibility and discipline. A communication platform is only as valuable as the substance of its conversations and the trust it earns from its audience.

We therefore call on government officials, labour leaders, political stakeholders, development experts, professionals, members of the media and all Nigerians who believe in constructive engagement to partner with us in this mission.

To our comrades and members of Working People United, this initiative places an additional responsibility on us. We must be prepared to learn, to communicate effectively, to engage respectfully and to carry our message beyond these walls. We must ensure that this studio becomes a productive instrument for public enlightenment, grassroots engagement and national development.

Distinguished guests, today, we are commissioning more than equipment, microphones and recording facilities. We are commissioning an idea. We are commissioning a commitment to public conversation. We are commissioning a platform for workers' voices, policy education and political engagement.

And above all, we are commissioning another instrument through which Working People United will contribute to the national conversation and mobilise support for the continued leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

May this studio become a place where ideas are tested, solutions are explored, public policies are better understood and the aspirations of working Nigerians are given the attention they deserve.

May it strengthen our commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, deepen our engagement with the grassroots, and help build a more informed, involved and politically conscious working population.

On behalf of the leadership and entire membership of Working People United, I express my sincere appreciation to everyone who has contributed to making this vision a reality. Your support is an investment in communication, public enlightenment, and the future of our organisation.

May God bless the working people of Nigeria.

May God bless His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Vice President, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima.

And may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Thank you, and God bless you all.
