MINILS Director-General tours podcast studio ahead of official unveiling next week

Working People United (WoPU) has received Comrade Issa Aremu, Director-General of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS), ahead of the official launch of its Working People’s Podcast scheduled for next week.

During the visit, Comrade Aremu toured the podcast studio and expressed his readiness to attend the official opening, offering an encouraging boost to the organisation’s preparations for the launch of its new media initiative.

The visit was marked by warm exchanges, shared laughter and conversations centred on the collective aspiration for a better Nigeria. It also provided an opportunity to highlight the importance of platforms that promote meaningful dialogue on governance, labour relations, public policy and national development.

The Working People’s Podcast is an initiative of WoPU designed to bring critical national issues to the forefront, with particular attention to workers’ welfare, the concerns of ordinary Nigerians and the policies shaping the country’s future.

Through conversations with labour leaders, policymakers, public officials and other stakeholders, the platform aims to create room for informed discussions, broaden public engagement and amplify the voices of working people.

WoPU welcomed Comrade Aremu’s visit as an encouraging moment as the organisation prepares to open the studio and expand its media engagement.

The forthcoming launch marks another step in the organisation’s efforts to promote constructive conversations on national development and contribute to the vision of a better Nigeria.
