WoPU MOURNS THE PASSING OF COMRADE (BARRISTER) EMMANUEL UGBOAJA, mni

Working People United (WoPU) joins the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the entire Nigerian Labour Movement, and the family, friends, and associates of Comrade (Barrister) Emmanuel Ugboaja, mni, in mourning the painful loss of an iconic labour leader and distinguished patriot.

His passing is a great loss to the labour movement and to Nigeria. Comrade Ugboaja was a passionate advocate for workers’ rights, social justice, dignity of labour, and the welfare of the working people.

At WoPU, we recognize and honour his contributions to the advancement of the Labour Movement and his commitment to a better society. His dedication to the cause of workers and his service to humanity will remain an enduring part of his legacy.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the President and leadership of the NLC, the entire labour family, his immediate family, colleagues, and all who mourn this great loss.

May God grant his family and the Labour Movement the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
